Episode 086
Why you NEED Women on your Board, with Olga V. Mack
Discussing the benefits of gender diversity in the boardroom
On Boardroom Bound we constantly advocate for gender equality in the boardroom often citing the benefits of diversity of thought and a different perspective. Not only has gender diversity become more widely accepted, but rather it’s also become a necessity for successful boardrooms. In this day and age, pale male and stale is out and diversity of race, thought, religion, and gender is in. To help us learn more about the advantages of gender equality and why we need women in the boardroom we welcome Olga V. Mack to the show.
Olga is the CEO of Parley Pro, a modern, collaborative, and intuitive contract lifecycle management platform that has pioneered online negotiation technology. She is also an award-winning general counsel, operations professional, startup advisor, public speaker, adjunct professor, and entrepreneur. Arguably her most impactful accomplishment was her founding of Women Serve on Boards movement that advocates for women to serve on corporate boards.
In today’s episode, Olga shares more about why gender equality creates a better boardroom for us all. She leverages her career experience while also discussing lessons she’s learned throughout her extensive, diverse career. I’m incredibly excited to bring you this bonus episode of Boardroom Bound.
