The Future of Corporate Governance, with Darla Stuckey
Understanding the trends in corporate governance
As an up and coming board director – one of your greatest assets is knowledge and preparation. A difficult part of that preparation is identifying and understanding ongoing boardroom and corporate governance trends. That’s the topic of today’s episode, and to help us fully understand what the future of the boardroom looks like we’re welcoming Darla Stuckey to the show!
Darla Stuckey is the President and CEO of Society for Corporate Governance, a non-profit organization geared toward dealing with public disclosure under the securities laws and matters affecting corporate governance, including the structure and meetings of the board of directors and its committees, the proxy process and the annual meeting of shareholders and shareholder relations, particularly with large institutional owners.
In today’s episode, we hear from Darla about the lessons she’s learned throughout her time in corporate governance and also hear about her experiences leading the Society for Corporate Governance. You won’t want to miss out on this episode of Boardroom Bound!
